Welcome to my food journal! I am blogging what I eat everyday (exciting right). I am doing this so I feel more responsible for what I eat. Feel free to follow my progress. And if you are trying to lose weight and need someone to give you encouragement or to listen I am more than happy to be that person. I may not be the healthiest person now, but I am getting better.

I have included gadgets on the side for a weight loss tip of the day and a BMI calculator to help me, and you, become healthier.

02/22/10

Today was really hard. I normally snack all day at work. I didn't snack at all. I was STaRViNG!!! I text Kelly at 3 or so and told him to have dinner ready at 5 or I would DIE! It was ready by 4:55. He is amazing!

My first food journal...

Oatmeal- 260
5 Hour Energy Drink- 4
Sliced Beef Meal- 500 (or so, I threw the box away, but I know it was less than 500)
Diet Dr. Pepper- 0
Gum- 10 (yes, gum has calories!)
Water (4-5 8oz glasses)- 0
Avocado- 45
Lettuce- 10
Chicken (skinless)- 280
Hawaiian Roll- 110
Rice with green beans and carrots- 100
Diet Sunkist- 0
Hummas (2TBSP)- 100
Pita Chips (12)- 260
Tagalongs- 140*
Diet Dr. Pepper- 0

Calorie total: 1795

5- 205 calories below goal

*I had the cookies because I was still well below goal. It is like a reward for eating good all day :)
